Yes. The tool works without registration, a payment card or a watermark.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The selected file is processed locally by your browser and is not sent to a Letomix server for compression.
Which formats are supported?
Static JPG, PNG and WebP files up to 30 MB are supported. Animated WebP is rejected so the animation is not removed.
Can the original format be preserved?
Yes. With “Same as original,” JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG and WebP stays WebP.
Why is quality unavailable for PNG?
PNG is saved losslessly, so JPG and WebP quality settings do not affect it.
What happens if the new file is larger?
When format and dimensions are unchanged, the tool keeps the original file instead of returning a larger re-encoded copy.
