Is this image compressor free?
Yes. It works without registration, a card or a watermark.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The selected image is decoded and re-encoded locally by your browser. The tool page does not upload the file to a Letomix server.
Which formats are supported?
Static JPG, PNG and WebP images are supported. Animated WebP is rejected because browser re-encoding would remove its animation.
Does Keep original preserve WebP?
Yes. JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG and WebP stays WebP. Transparency is preserved for PNG and WebP.
Why is quality disabled for PNG?
PNG is lossless in the browser canvas export, so the JPG/WebP quality setting does not apply.
What happens if the result is larger?
When the format and dimensions are unchanged, the tool keeps the original file instead of offering a larger re-encoded copy.
